Swapping Operations Specialist---France Paris

As a Swapping Operations Specialist, you will be operating BAIC’s EV battery swapping stations and interfacing with customers, troubleshooting any technical issues that arise at our stations. For those individuals capable of and desiring advancement into operations / technical field support, there will be opportunities for growth. Ideal candidates are energetic, enthusiastic and have excellent communication skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Remotely manage BAIC’s network of swapping stations, ensuring stations stay in excellent condition and ready to battery swaps for safe and successful completion and customer satisfaction
  • Diligently document information on station status, swap results, customer experience, etc. for detailed operational data tracking
  • Quickly escalate issues to support teams, working within Operations and with Engineers and others to troubleshoot and rapidly resolve hardware and software problems
  • Assist customers with using the swapping stations, as well as any vehicle issues or other inquiries they may have
  • Perform driving, testing, validation, and other hands-on work in the field as needed
  • Work with teams in different countries

REQUIREMENTS

  • Preferred Education: FP de grado medio o superior idealmente en la familia de Electricidad y Electrónica, o Fabricación Mecánica
  • Tech-savvy: ability to investigate, understand, and resolve issues associated with complex technical products, including robotics and batteries
  • Hands-on: ability and willingness to roll-up your sleeves to help the team solve a technical problem
  • B2 English level required
  • History with or interest in technical troubleshooting, tinkering, data analysis, and/or light programming
  • Ability to give and receive clear verbal and written communication
  • A continuous improvement approach, adapting quickly and acting with a strong sense of urgency
  • Can-do attitude, enthusiasm for leadership and growth, comfort with ambiguity and ability to perform light physical work

Technical Operations Specialist---France Paris

As a Technical Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for resolving technical field escalations as well as shaping processes and tools to support your team. You will solve complex challenges that enable Ample to move into our next phase of energy delivery - these solutions will require thoughtfulness, creativity, and a drive to innovate. Your work will be directly impacting technical issue resolution, continuous operational improvement, and most importantly customer experience. You are process oriented and operate with a sense of urgency.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Remotely assist swapping operations team with urgently resolving blocking technical issues encountered in the field
  • Gather all relevant information and clearly document issues and resolutions in detail for root cause analysis
  • Investigate non-blocking technical problems to identify patterns and proactively address them before they become failures
  • Work with engineering team to understand ongoing technical issues and implement fixes quickly in the field
  • Advocate internally on behalf of the customer to get key issues prioritized and permanently resolved
  • Perform commissioning, testing, and other hands on work in the field as needed
  • Work with teams in different countries

REQUIREMENTS

Preferred Education:

  • Higher grade FP ideally in the family of Electricity and Electronica, or Fmanufacturing Mecanic
  • University degree in the area of engineering, technology or engineering
  • 1-3 years of experience in a technical field; technical troubleshooting experience preferred, experience with robotic systems and/or light programming a plus
  • Tech-savvy: ability to investigate, understand, and resolve issues associated with complex technical products, including robotics and batteries
  • Hands-on: willingness to roll-up your sleeves to help the team solve a technical problem
  • Linux/Unix: Able to follow detailed technical debugging procedures associated with Ample's technology
  • B2 English level required

Sales Area Manager----France Paris

PURPOSE OF THIS ROLE

Develop BAIC market opportunities into sales for BAIC in France

KEY RESULTS/ACCOUNTABILITIES EXPECTED FROM THE ROLE

  • Develop awareness for the BAIC brand in the area
  • Focus on the market by following the phases as defined in the European launch strategy
  • Search for best candidates and organize contacts with private investors
  • Negotiate agreements with candidates to develop a consistent network on your area
  • Negotiate annual/quarterly/monthly sales targets with distributors
  • Build marketing and actions plans with your dealers. Focus on salesmen recruitments and training
  • Manage distributors to achieve Sales target
  • Secure invoicing process and reduce overdue payment as financial floorplan management with your dealers
  • Collect necessary product information to enable SME to execute product management based upon French requirements
  • Visit partners as leasing companies, fleetowners and key account customers to sell BAIC and support our growth
  • Report to SAIC MOTOR FRANCE managers KPIs of your region and market trends
  • Handle administrative tasks such as weekly report, forecasts, or marketing plans

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND & EXPERTISE

  • Has a relevant network in France to Distributor networks and sales partners
  • Have a strong background in automotive products
  • Being a sales-oriented person with understanding of multiple customer group perceptions
  • Skilled in using basic computer applications (MS Office) and understand multiple languages and cultures
  • Native French and Fluent in English on a business professional level (all internal meetings will be organized in English as daily communication with head-office teams)
  • Must be able to work independently: self-starter
  • High level of flexibility in time, location and multiple solutions
  • Valid driving license.

HR & Admin Trainee (M/F/D/X) ----France

Purpose of the internship

As HR & Admin Trainee, the resource will be working closely with HR & Admin Manager to carry out the daily activities related to the Employee Lifecycle, including Recruitment, Onboarding, Training and Development, Systems & Metrics, Internal Communication, and Employee Relations.

Key objectives

  • Recruitment: Support talent pipeline and database management and collaborate with employer branding actions
  • Onboarding of new employees: Assist HR & Admin Manager and Line Managers on creating & executing the Induction program for new joiners

  • The Aftersales department of Europe is responsible for service & maintenance, technical diagnose & analysis and product improvement related topics concerning our full electric cars . 
  • This is including, but not limited to providing technical support to our customers and service providers and continuous feedback to HQ and R&D teams internally for product improvement. 
  • The main objective of the After-sales department is to build a relationship of mutual trust and knowledge with the customers, in order to ensure their continued satisfaction, which will benefit the business and future sales.

  • In this position, you will provide all-round after-sales support to our customers together with our service providers in the france. Maintain good relationship and reputation with customers, operators and service providers. Work with R&D and other internal departments and production teams to improve products.

About the role:

As the EU Deployment Strategy Manager on the Deployment Strategy team, you will play a critical role in driving the expansion of our battery swapping network in EU region. This role reports to the Director of Deployment Strategy, and requires a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in deployment and operations, as well as strong partnerships and stakeholder management skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing battery swap station sites, securing deployment partnerships, navigating the permitting and licensing landscape, and ensuring the successful launch and scale of our network. This position offers the opportunity to shape the future of EV infrastructure in a rapidly growing market.

What You'll Do:

· Site Development & Deployment

· Identify and evaluate potential station sites for battery swapping in EU region

· Lead negotiations with property owners, real estate developers and local authorities to secure prime locations

· Oversee the design, construction and commissioning of battery swapping stations

· Partnership Management:

· Develop and manage strategic partnerships with OEMs, fleet operators and other key stakeholders

· Support BCF engineering teams based in China in their collaboration with OEM partners to ensure compatibility and seamless integration of battery swapping technology

· Cultivate relationships with fleet customers to drive adoption and usage of the battery swapping network

· Permitting & Licensing:

· Navigate the complex regulatory environment in EU  region to obtain necessary permits and licenses

· Support BCF policy team liaising with government agencies, local municipalities and industry regulators to ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements

· Network Launch & Scale:

· Lead the planning and execution of the network launch, ensuring timely and successful deployment

· Develop and implement strategies for scaling the network and reducing deployment costs

What You'll Bring:

· Fluency in France and English is required

· Based in Paris or willingness to relocate

· Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field. Graduate degree preferred

· Minimum of 4 years of experience in deployment, operations, or a related field, preferably within the EV, renewable energy or technology sectors

· Proven track record of successfully managing complex deployment projects and partnerships

· Proficiency in AutoCAD, with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans

· Familiarity with the EU regulatory regime and permitting processes

· Excellent negotiation, communication and relationship management skills

· Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
